Community service opportunities in NY?

Im a 17 year old female and I was wondering what community service options there are left for the summer. I know its kind of short notice but are there any programs with openings left? I already know about service such as soup kitchens and retirement homes. Websites would also be helpful but I would prefer something specific.Also any job/internship opportunities.Thanks.
