Should the IDF commandos mobilize to Russia and free Jewish businessmen Khodorkovsky?

Khodorkovsky is half jewish, is married to a non-jew and has never shown an interest in jewish matters (ie, he does not consider himself jewish). Even if he was fully jewish, that is a Russian matter, and Khodorkovsky was given the chance by Putin to leave Russia, and he didn't. His situation is bad, but it's not up to Israel or jewish people to decide what happens to him.
