Will bad math skills hinder a persons ability to become officer in IDF?

It depends upon the troops. You will have problems in the carrier of the military pilot or artillery officer or a navy officer( although on some positions in the Navy the math skills are not a must). You will also have certain difficulties in the Armoured Corps. But in infantry and in the paratroopers, even in the elite forces, the math skills are not too important( although they are welcomed).
